Healthcare Coordinator (RN)
Reports to: Program Coordinator
Summary:
The Registered Nurse (RN) oversees the healthcare needs of participants, administers medications, monitors health, and supervises the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to ensure compliance with care standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct health assessments for all participants upon admission and periodically thereafter.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Supervise the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), delegating tasks and ensuring adherence to healthcare protocols.
- Train and supervise staff on healthcare procedures, including emergency response.
- Monitor participant health and report changes to family and/or healthcare providers.
- Maintain detailed medical records in compliance with HIPAA and state standards.
- Assist with the development and periodic review of individualized care plans.
- Assist participants with self-care tasks (bathing, dressing, toileting, eating and hygiene) when needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor to support the overall operations and mission of the center.
Qualifications:
- Current RN license in North Carolina.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in geriatrics or adult care.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- CPR and First Aid certification.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Capability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable assisting participants with mobility or transferring.

Maintenance/Janitorial Manager
Reports to: Executive Director
Summary:
The Maintenance/Janitorial Manager will oversee the cleanliness, maintenance, and safety of the facility, ensuring a welcoming and hazard-free environment for participants, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure a safe and sanitary facility.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs for building systems, equipment, and grounds.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and address any hazards or deficiencies promptly.
- Develop and implement a maintenance schedule for HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, and other key areas.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning and maintenance supplies and reorder, as necessary.
- Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs or projects.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety and sanitation regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor to support the overall operations and mission of the center.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training in maintenance preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in facility maintenance or a related role.
- Strong knowledge of building systems and safety standards.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and operate maintenance equipment.
- Effective organizational and communication skills.
Physical Requirements:
- Capability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as climbing, bending, and kneeling regularly.
- Comfortable operating or cleaning maintenance equipment.
